I live by the sentence that 'we don't see things as they are, we see them as we are'. This means that I will always challenge myself to think differently and adopt a different mindset than my current one, no matter what other people say. In the background you see my hero Dick Fosbury. Dick was the first man to win a gold medal in the high jump event jumping with his back over the bar. Before Dick came along, everybody had been jumping with their front first. He changed this sport forever, just by daring to stand out and think different.

The same counts for the famous painting that Van Gogh made from the stars at night. When we look at the sky at night we see stars, the moon and a lot of darkness. Van Gogh saw something different, according to our perceptions of the sky his perception was wrong, but is beautiful isn't it?

An example of how I like to do things a little different is my current way of living: I am living like a digital nomad, curious what that is? Find out on the next page! (I have made it easy for you, just scroll down;))

I am a Digital Nomad: I strongly believe that the world is here to be experienced and that one can do great things for others while exploring it. On december 5th 2011 I have started an amazing journey together with Diana Vermeij. We have decided to continue working while travelling the world like a bunch of digital nomadz.

While travelling the world I have a diverse group of clients in multiple countries. I give workshops, lectures and tell stories about a great variety of topics but all centered around the central topic of CHANGE. Technology is changing the way we work, live and interact. I love to work with companies and help them become or stay fit in these challenging times. After all it are not the fastest or smartest but the fittest that shall survive. Besides that, I often share my thoughts about  the ‘Digital Nomadz way of working’ and inspire with my vision about the future of healthcare, education, banking or other areas that have to change because we as a society are changing.

I also create remarkable content for clients to serve multiple purposes. By combining the fresh, the new and the cool and remixing this into great stories worth spreading I connect the online and offline world. For examples of content I created for clients see YouTube (movies), SlideShare (presentations and workshops) and Flickr (photos) and number of websites (SlimmerZorgen.nl, Pro-f.nl and this website).

Most of my time I spend learning and thinking. I read, I watch, I listen, I feel and I taste as much as I can and transform this into stories and inspiration for a broad and diverse audience.  The rest of the time I engage with people and connect people. In short: ‘I am here to run and jump and laugh and cry and hope and imagine.. To experience as much as I can, all for one purpose: to inspire others…’
